Yes. It is a daily hair bath: it cleanses with precision while hydrolyzed vegetable protein reinforces the fiber, so hair keeps its quality wash after wash.
Do I apply it to dry or wet hair?+
Either. On dry hair, massage it into the scalp, add water little by little until it lathers, leave it a few minutes, then rinse. On wet hair, massage for 2 minutes and rinse.
Which scalp treatment goes with it?+
Hydro-balance scalp gel, made for scalps that sweat often. Apply the gel to the dry scalp, leave it on for 15 to 20 minutes, then wash with this bath.
What is a hair bath?+
Hair bath is what Oway calls its shampoos. Each one cleanses and carries botanical actives chosen for a specific scalp or hair need, so every wash also works as a treatment.
Why does scalp care matter?+
The scalp is skin, and hair grows from it. A scalp that is balanced, neither oily nor tight, is the base for hair that looks fresh, light and full. That is why Oway’s scalp formulas care for the scalp first, then the lengths.

What is Agricosmetica®?+
Agricosmetica® is how Oway makes cosmetics: actives from biodynamic and certified organic farming, selected with care and processed in a circular system that turns waste into resources, from the field to the bottle.
What is Ortofficina?+
Ortofficina is Oway’s farm in the hills of Bologna, farmed with biodynamic methods since the early 2000s. Many of the botanical actives in Oway formulas are grown there and harvested when each plant is at its peak.
What does biodynamic mean?+
Biodynamic farming treats the farm as one living system. It builds soil fertility with compost and crop rotation, uses no synthetic fertilizers or pesticides, and times sowing and harvest to natural cycles. Oway grows its biodynamic actives at Ortofficina and with a network of biodynamic growers.
Why glass and aluminium?+
Glass keeps out light, air and moisture, so a formula keeps its purity, potency and freshness, and nothing leaches into it. Oway replaced plastic with recyclable glass and aluminium for its bottles, jars and tubes, to cut single-use plastic.
Where is Oway made?+
In Italy. Oway was founded in Bologna in 1948 and still develops its formulas there, close to its farm, Ortofficina.
